The older Thinkpads are already an anti-MacBook. They didn't need to change anything. I can actually FIX those laptops AND upgrade my CPU, RAM, USB, DVD, and HDD. I can chunk it as hard as I want at the ground and it'll stare back at me like I flicked it. If I broke that way it in warranty, Lenovo would replace it.

It's been over 20 years since the whole "Windows does nothing but crash" meme is still in swing for non-Windows users. The truth is Windows is definitely a lot more stable now. This is so they can actually get you to use it so they can steal every microgram of your data including your every skin follicle.
